Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods was another striking place we saw.

Climb up one of these rocks, sit, and breath in the beauty of it all.

Pikes Peak

The Cog Railway took us all the way to the top of Pikes Peak.
Erin, the guide, was fabulous and kept the passengers entertained on the way up.

If you ever find yourself in Colorado Springs, CO, make time for this adventure.

The Broadmoor

Colorado Springs' crown jewel. The Broadmoor has everything needed for vacation: a pool, a movie theater, shopping, plenty of restaurants, glorious grounds for walking, golf, and lost of seating in and out just to stare and relax.

Pool.

One view of the lake.
Patio.
The North building.
Again.

Pool.

A hallway.

Way to the pool.

West building.

North Building.
It's breathtaking.

Santa Fe, NM

A morning to remember it was. Take a look at Santa Fe, New Mexico.

One of many fabulous looking doors.

Although the locals felt this was a hotter than usual summer, we Arizonans were in heaven.
It was a dream come true to spend time in Santa Fe.

Meteor Crater

This was the first stop of the trip.

We would see more of this kind of scenery throughout the trip.

Rumor has it that astronauts practiced here.

Yes, one hit Arizona.

A nice ledge to look below.

Can you read the sign?
Meteor Crater is certainly a place to visit if you are riding around these parts.
