This global event was started in 2007 by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Australia. Today, many cities around the globe will participate in Earth Hour from 8 - 9 PM by turning off their lights. Our homestead will participate. Google went dark. The Honorable Harry Mitchell who represents us Arizonans in the United States Congress, invited us to join him and turn off our lights.
