The burning fire

The backyard resort is now equipped with a heat source for the evening movie watching on the big screen.

Opening ceremonies included making smores.

It is a beautiful thing.

Saturday gatherings

Having a backyard resort makes it possible to gather people and share food, drink, and good conversation. We have done something just about every Saturday for a while.

It makes for a full day with all the cleaning that goes on beforehand.

We ordered food from Rigatony's.

A friend made this very moist and tasty pumpkin cake.

Although I like being on the periphery of any group, I equally like moments of togetherness with kind, warm, smart people. Cheers!

Lighting creates ambiance

The lighting was a very well thought out part of the backyard project. The genius mastermind of the project went to great lengths to find just the right gadgets.

Backyard accessories

These are 2 of 3 bar stools. They are roomy and swivel for all around view.

The brown chairs are part of a full set and come with their own foot rest piece not shown here.

This is paradise in the making. We shall be in the water soon.

I am so excited about my backyard grass. It's finally in.
