Pikes Peak

The Cog Railway took us all the way to the top of Pikes Peak.

Erin, the guide, was fabulous and kept the passengers entertained on the way up.

The Broadmoor

Colorado Springs' crown jewel. The Broadmoor has everything needed for vacation: a pool, a movie theater, shopping, plenty of restaurants, glorious grounds for walking, golf, and lost of seating in and out just to stare and relax.

This zoo is right smack on the side of a mountain.

Santa Fe, NM

A morning to remember it was. Take a look at Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Although the locals felt this was a hotter than usual summer, we Arizonans were in heaven.

It was a dream come true to spend time in Santa Fe.

Meteor Crater

This was the first stop of the trip.

We would see more of this kind of scenery throughout the trip.

Rumor has it that astronauts practiced here.

Yes, one hit Arizona.

I was very fond of dolls made of cloth when I was a wee one. They were soft and became one with me when I hugged them.

This is Molly, Grasshopper's doll given to her by my sister. But Molly is more special to me than anyone else. She brings me back to my childhood.
